A Night in Seoul (서울의 밤) 

BRAND IDENTITY, SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN, EVENT MARKETING

KASA's biggest annual event is its Culture Show, a 1-night event full of performances, cultural food, and more. I created the brand identity, web and print collateral, and marketing strategy for this event. 

The event attracted 300+ people, demonstrating the success of my marketing efforts.

Final

The theme and title of the event was "A Night in Seoul", so I wanted the event poster to convey that idea. This graphic was formatted into various different aspect ratios.

I created a detailed isometric building illustration to include in the event's promotional materials. The buildings were drawn in the shape of the letterform "밤" (bam) which means "night" in Korean. I chose colors that were cohesive and would indicate the feelings of a nighttime city skyline well. Additionally, I added "Northeastern University," "KASA," and "2022" into the illustration as signs on the buildings as extra touches.

Instagram Countdown Series

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING CAMPAIGN

Instagram is the main way KASA members receive information about events, which is why I decided to utilize this platform for this marketing campaign.

I scheduled and designed a series of 9 instagram posts to post counting down the days until the event. This would not only spread awareness about the event but also generate excitement within the KASA community.

 

I started by creating a content calendar, planning what to post on what day. The posts alternated between graphics and videos, the graphics featuring a variety of details related to the event and the skits being humorous skits that the KASA e-board filmed.

The main graphic for the event was spliced up to create a cohesive, satisfying image on the feed once complete.

Funny story, we got 100 of the programs you see above professionally printed and overnight shipped to one of the KASA executive board member's house and the entire package was stolen off his doorstep, thus the need to create a scannable program. The thief returned the box of programs 2 days after the event.
